93-4 6 disc changer
The 90-92 Changers look almost identical to the 93-94 changers. What exactly is different between these two? The 90-92's are much cheaper than replacement 93-4s.
Does anyone have a 93-94 changer for sale?

the 93 94 ls400 cd changer weighs 8 pounds the 90 to 92 is 20 pounds is trhe first diference. the 93 94 is made of lightweight aluminum and a version of it is still used in new 7 series bmw so it isa a very good changer. there are no parts left to fix the 90 to 92 which was firsat genration changer and had several bugs in it. i have a 93 94 changer for sale for 250.00 . the 90 ton 92 go for about half that in working condition if you can find one in woirking condition for sale.
I've heard 92-96 ES300 changers are a cheaper and suitable replacement as well. There are a bunch around for $50-$150. Would something like that work? If I sent you my changer could you repair or take a look at it? It doesn't seem to get any power, no movement or any type of indication that it is on.
