Default LS400 Rear speakers

Hi,

I am replacing the rear nakimichis due to rot and I thought they were standard 4".
However, the replacment speakers I just got do not seem fit. The mounting holes are different. I searched and could not find anything about this.

It about to rain my car is torn apart.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

sorry im probly a little late for the rain, my suggestion would be to either just drill the screws into the plastic box wherever they fit...or (what i would do) is return the 4"s and get some 5.25"s and a dremel or saw and cut the hole a little larger to fit them and scrap the thing that goes on top of the speaker for the box...

Thats pretty much what I did, I just drilled and tapped some new holes.

Interestingly, the fronts are standard 4" and the rears are non-standard.

Thanks
