Help - Instructions For Removing Cd Changer, 1996 gs 300 trunk mounted unit
any instructions on removal?
I removed the 2 bolts on the drivers side to remove the changer from the bracket, then the front (of the car) passenger side bolt at the top and then i found a bottom back (again of the car) passenger side bolt that was very hard to get to. with the 4 bolts removed, the unit would move around a lot, but would not come free of the amp. looked like it still had something holding it on the bottom middle passenger side, but would move some much that it acted more like it was in a bind more than a bolt holding it. i went back and took out the bolts on the bracket to the amp thinking that the bracket would have to come with it, but still no luck.
anybody done this? looked on the web, but did not see a gs trunk mount link anywhere.
