I taken the Glove box completely off in order to access it but that really didn't help

by rear seat i mean the seat in the back of the vehicle right before the cargo area. drivers side doesnt mean drivers seat its just a way to tell the side without saying right and left because it depends which way your standfng . drivers side of the rear seat cannot be confused unless you think i meant under the drivers seat., no it is not under the drivers seat its under the rear seat.

I know excatly what you were reffering to. But just by looking around it seems like there is something under the front passenger seat of the car, and nothing under the rear seats.Looks to be the factory woofer, is the amp mounted next to it? This is a 2000 model RX300 if that makes any difference.

no matter what year or with or without navigation system the radio amplifier on the rv300 is in the same location. behind the left hand rear seat. it is mounted in a vertical position. you may have to remove the deck lid on the floor of the cargo area to acsess it. the electrical components come off the same wiring harness like the rear power plug and the rear side marker light. so if you can find the wiring harness trace the wires and they will lead to the radio amplifier. they have it back there for cooling purposes so it can have some air flow arounf it when it gets hot.
