Lexus keyless entry batteries
Just an FYI for those that come searching the forums for keyless entry battery information.
I had the duty of replacing the batteries in my 1993 LS400, 1993 SC300, 1994 GS300, and 1997 ES300. for the LS GS and SC I used the battery coded CR1216 I got it from walmart in the watch section. For the 1997 ES300 ( I believe 1997 1998 1999 2000 and 2001) uses the battery coded CR2016. The FCC ID on my LS SC and GS keys are HYQ1512A. The FCC ID on the ES300 is HYQ1512P.
