NAV playing DVD's...

Does anyone know what happened to VLAD... aka Video Navi? He was the inventor of making your stock Nav play DVD's.

His website is no longer up an running for a long time now.

I think that was an old thread. There is 2 other companies that make them I believe.

http://www.vaistech.com/ is one of them. One of our CL moderators (and Lexus Master Tech) has been involved in the design and test of this unit.

The guy that runs this company was actually the technical designer for Vlad's device. I think there were some issues and he moved out on his own.
