es 300 TV/DVD problem

es 300 TV/DVD problem
I'm trying to install a flushmount lcd screen and DVD in my 98 lexus es300. I'm putting the screen where the front vents and clock are seated by fabricating a custom housing from the existing frames.
Everything is Great, but when I reconnected everything the radio did not turn on nor the DVD or CD changer...!
I hooked it up the exact way the CD changer is hooked up!
Took it to the dealership to get the unlock codes and they said it wasn't locked because it was not getting any power (no lights, display, etc.)
Fuses are fine and every other electronic component is working....?
Did I miss a step doing the install - something special with lexus that I need to do.....?
Need help ...... No tunes..........!
