Where is the factory amp located? Is it the black box in my trunk on the passenger side? Please post pics if not. Also, if i have an aftermarket cd changer, and my audio shop couldn't use the factory one, is it still powering my speakers and just not the changer? OR, is it just disconnected all the way around?

The amp is in the trunk if you have a ML system. Otherwise it's behind the glove compartment, mounted verically, to the right side.
