Where's the best spot to run wires from the engine compartment in a 2002 ES300 to the trunk? I didn't see any places that appears to be made for passing stuff through.

 

Ive never looked at it on the ES, but you might have to piggyback into a hole with wires already running through it. Just drill a hole big enough to run the wire into the rubber grommet and seal it. Be careful not to drill into anything unintentionally, it might be best to drill a starter hole and then expand it.

 

The best place is where the AC lines go throught the firewall it has a very large rubber boot and you will have to poke a hole in it with a wire coat hanger and push it in and locate it inside car then outside tape your wire to it and pull it through from inside car.

 

Are you installing/upgrading an audio system? I've been searching high and low on this forum on anyone upgrading a 02+ ES sound system. Can't stand the Lexus "Premium" audio system.
