Got a new after market alarm with remote start installed today but the installer got a problem to make the remote start to work right. The car will start remotely but the engine sounds very rough ( seems like when you try to start the car when the engine is running ) He went through the wiring again and checked 4 different diagrams and a lenghtly talk with the vendor without success. However with the key in and turn to ACC the remote start worked normally ( the engine sounds normal ) I wonder what cause this. He tried 2 different alarm unit with the same result. Is anyone using a 91 LS400 with remote start want to share their experience ? He has not touched the OEM alarm system.
