Default Help me pick my headunit!

Ok guys I sold my old CVA-1000, and am in need of a new head unit. I have it narrowed down to the following two options. I love Alpine and have a lot of Ai-Net stuff, so I'm trying to keep it the same thing. I have it narrowed down to this.

CVA-1004

IVA-D300

Now, the IVA is obviously better than the CVA, but is it justifiable to pay the $500 more for touchscreen and rear back up input? (Thinking about it, a rear back up cam would be tight...) Anyways...help me out and lemme know which one I should pick! I am totally torn, and I will let this thread be the official decider of what I will get. Thanks

James

I have the IVA and love it. You get a lot more with the IVA not just the touchscreen. The 1004 is just an am/fm radio with the screen and only has one preout. The IVA is a cd/dvd/am/fm radio with touch screen and 3 preouts! It also has Ipersonalize, it plays mp3 discs, and is a 7" screen.
IMO the IVA is a no brainer when comparing it to the 1004. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice. I have a changer, so that's whty I first thought of the 1004. The IVA has both a player in the deck as well as changer controls?

Yup as long as you have the ai-net changer it will plug into the IVA.
