My last-gen SC400 is upset. It has been acting weird after a Viper alarm install w/ diodes by a local installer.

Every "other" day the master control panel decides to stop working mainly the driver window will not go down/up, and the door locks will not work.

It sometimes locks the passenger side windows too.

After a couple of starts it acts normal for a few days, then does it again.

I found out tonight that it affects my headlights as well- l got out the car to find the driver headlight on only. okay weird. restarted. passenger headlight only. weirder. waited 10 mins. then restarted, both work!

I have a Lexus appointment on Wednesday to checkout, but wanted to know if anyone else had these problems.

I just know the first thing they are going to say is "rip out the new alarm"

Please post suggestions.

BTW- The guy did not hook up the windows control wires to the viper alarm and he has checked it out twice since to no avail.
