Default Replacement for OEM CD changer

I been having problems with my OEM cd changer (w/Nak) where it keeps pausing and/or with lots of static while playing cd. This problem seems to be worse when I play burned CDs so I was thinking of replacing the CD changer.

Can anyone suggest brand, model #, etc.. that would fit in the same space as OEM?

Thanks!

sounds like the laser is dirty. needs a laser cleaning disc inserted. othjer wise thewre are no replacemnts for lexus cd changers. they have 2 serial communication lines that talk to the head unit so no other changer can be substituted. replacement changers can be found at less than the 1000.00 nthe dealer charges for a new one or 500.00 to refurb. i working changers go for 1 to 200 . even if there was a new aftermarket changer that worked they wouldnt last 5 years like the factory one has. 2004 aftermarket changers lucky to give 1 year service.

Thanks lexusaudio!!

Do I use regular cleaner (for like portable CD players)? Or is there something that you would suggest. If that doesn't work, I guess I have to work up some money

regular windex is the best laser lens cleaning material . drop some windex on the laser lens cleaning cd. or you can get to lens with a long stem qtip like labarotories use.
