Hey guys, I'm looking to get a pair of subwoofers for my car... I know the common brands and such, but I'm not entirely sure how to choose and if I'm getting my money's worth. My budget is about $500, for subs (I guess two 10s or 12s?) and amp. I will get the box locally made I guess because I know shipping will be crazy if I get something already with a box.

Can someone lead me to what I should get? Something that is reasonably priced for a little bass... I'm not looking to join any contests or shows or anything. So something simple. Thanks dudes.
