since my CD changer is giving me constant headaches ive been thinkin of getting an in dash cd player. something like this but black so it looks more subtle and actually belongs there.



question is i know ill have a gap there and i see sc owners with an extra plastic piece to cover it up, just wondering where do you get that? yea this may sound stupid but im not much of a car audio person. any help is appreciated. oh, and if i do decide to do this, any recommendations from other sc owners?

 

sc400tuner.com sells the filler piece. a better option would be to get a 2.5 din radio unit, so no filler would be needed.

 

you can go to any circut city and get an ABS sheet and DIY if you feel the need. i used a piece of cut ABS plastic filler for the underneath of the radio when i was done with that project.

 

thanx guys, now im off to find a new radio. my volume **** will pretty much be useless now when i get this? and a/c and everything works fine with you guys right? lol, i feel so lost when it comes to these things but i can do my own installs on nearly any suspension part
