Mounting of New Amplifier
I used an MDF panel as an amp rack, cut to fit. Covered it with the existing gray trunk liner - used that rear piece as a template to cut the MDF, then reshaped it as necessary.
Used to have pics in the gallery, but they either expired or were removed. MDF, in case you're not familiar, is Medium Density Fiberboard - you can get it at Home Depot., same stuff that most people make woofer enclosures out of. You can make a panel that mounts vertically behind the seats, and you can bolt it through any of the braces that are back there, and/or attach it to the bottom ridge of the rear deck.
(I guess I'm making the stupid assumption that you have a GS...if you don't, the same principles apply, but the details are different.)

Is the gas tank located right behind the rear seat in the GS also? DO you know where I could come across it on the internet? I am am in Italy and we dont have a home depot

The SC is rigged totally different than the GS, so what I had indicated probably doesn't apply, sorry. I think many SC guys mount their amps in the rear fender well area.
