Whats the best remote start for a SC400? Im looking for one thats easy to install? Which one to stay away from?

This one allows you to use your existing key that way there is nothing extra. I like this one a lot. It has been on the sc430 threads for a while.

I have the Clifford Solaris and it is awesome, i've been using it for a year now, and I have had no problems at all with the system. It's really great because you can expand the system to have whatever you want it to do. Mine will roll down the windows, roll them up, and when I arm the alarm it will automatically roll them up. The extended range antenna allows me to start it from really far away, and if you try to get in the car and press down on the brake, the engine will quit. I hope this helps, the only downside is the cost...
