I am in the process of upgrading my '92 LS400 Pioneer premium audio system (NO CD changer) to a Nakamichi system with CD changer. I will be installing a '92 LS400 Nakamichi head unit, a '95 ES300 CD changer with a custom cable from the changer to the head unit. I also plan to replace the Pioneer subwoofer amp and subwoofer with a '92 LS400 Nakamichi subwoofer amp and subwoofer. If anyone has done this before could they tell me if the Nakamichi amp and subwoofer will plug right in after I remove the Pioneer subwoofer amp and subwoofer. I checked the wiring from the '92 LS400 Nakamichi head unit and it looks like the same wiring as the '92 LS400 Pioneer head unit (with cd changer). If all goes well the final step will be replacing the Pioneer system door speakers with LS400 Nakamichi door speakers. Other then the '95 ES300 cd changer everything (head unit/subwoofer amp/subwoofer/door speakers) will be stock "92 LS400 Nakamichi. Four Door.
