Need CL Members help (in dash DVD Player)

Need CL Members help
Hey guys,
I need your help cause I've been contemplating on gettting an in-dash DVD player but I'm really skeptical about how it would fit...I have a 99 GS 300 and am not sure where it would exactly go...Would they cut underneath the temperature gauge? Would they have to replace the whole unit???I really would like if people who have done this mod to send pictures of they re GS with an in dash DVD player....Also, would i be able to use my lexus 6 disc cd changer connected to the in dash???ANy info and pics would be greatly appreciated along with suggestions of models of In Dash and a hook up would even be better...

it's an alpine iva d900 1600 shipped from www.electronicgiant.com and i installed it my self the whole system exept for the headrest tv's

Hey DOCGS. I have a 99 GS300 also. Here's my setup. Actually I'm selling these 2
pieces on the audio classified forum for $690. I'm not solicitating but thought I let you
know. It's a 7" pioneer with the dvd/mp3/vcd/cd player in the glove compt. Not sure if you're still
looking.Your cd changer won't work once you change the head unit. I tried looking
for adapters...to make it work, but too much time and headache. A friend of mine
shine some light on me: you don't need the cd changer b/c w/ the mp3 player,
you can load about 100 songs on it!!! Also, you can play a single cd on the dvd
player. Hope this helps.
