Have any of you guys compared the Alpine IVA-D900 with the Pioneer AVH-P7500?

Default There is no comparison!

When comparing the alpine to the pioneer the alpine is a better unit hands down. It's user friendly, meaning that it's easy to use and the picture quality is outstanding.Alpine pixel count is 1.15 million and pioneer is 386,000.You do the math.BTW- if you are not aware the pixels make up the picture, the more pixels the crisper the picture.Touchscreen is fine but how often do you feel you will actually use this feature. If you are willing to spend the money then go with the alpine. Why did you buy a lexus and not a toyota or acura?Isn't the toyota and acura less?Do yourself and your car a favor and buy the lexus(ALPINE). Just my opinion.I have experiance with these units because I use to sell both of them along with CLARION, KENWOOD, and ECLIPSE.The alpine is in a class of it's own.Just watch a dvd and you will see the difference. One last thing, you will probably almost never use a TV tuner because the reception sucks when your moving, and to all that say it isn't ; compared to dvd?

How would you compare the alpine navigation system to the pioneer navigation system?

Default Once again....

Alpine has been doing nav. since 1984 and pioneer starting to get into the nav bus around 1998.I don't remember the exact number but alpine has I think 4 billion points of interest and now has the entire country on just 1 disk. The alpine nav unit also is a din size unit.It can be installed almost anywhere. When you talk about alpine you can't lose.

I have the IVA-C800 along with Alpine Powernav. I can't count enough times how much the alpine nav saved me from getting lost. Very user friendly and accurate. I have to upgrade the dvd nav disk though, costs around $300 I believe. It is one piece of upgrade that I can say it was REALLY worth it.

Would anyone have any pics of their Alpine IVA-d900 set up. Like the TV tuner and/or Nav and/or cd changer and/or video game consoles?
