Enform App Show--no so good for me
So I am still learning the LC and signed my data right for Enform and thought I could impress the family.
Me: Come guys, check out the LC, me got a bag of tricks
My Fam: What we doing looking at your car?
Me: I command LC to Flash the emergency light!
-- With my phone in my pocket, I hit the enform app Hazard Lights button, took 10sec (maybe first time?), my audience is going “we got better things do to”.
-- Finally the blinkers came on! Yeah!
My Fam: Cool, how you do that?
Me: I command LC to turn off the light......
-- I hit the Hazard on the app again, 10sec pass, nothing, LC still blinking, my audience attention fading.....
-- I hit the Hazard Light button again, another 10sec pass, nothing….
My Fam: Not so cool now….walked away .
Me: ARRGGGHHHHH
After my little fail show, I learned that you turn off the hazard by activate other functions (lock or unlock).
Maybe you all know already but I thought it's a little funny moment for sharing.

YOU: Put a family member in the passenger seat, turn on sport plus, window slightly down with infotainment system completely off and head for a twisty road.
YOUR FAMILY MEMBER: Huge grin and a thumbs up!

The fobs are Short Distance (published as 80') and work in a Short Time.
The phone App is for Long Distances and takes a Long Time to function.
How long a time does it take to turn on the Hazards using the fob? oh yeah, doesn't do that at all.
Landing from a trip and the pilot says you can turn on your phone...start the car while deplaning.
Doesn't matter that it took 20 seconds, right?
I do wish you could close the open sunroof, currently only shows that it is open...and about to rain!

Yes, we're in our third ESh, 2014 had no App, 2018 App had Hazard flasher control but no Drive Pulse (behavior nanny!),
2020 App has the Drive Pulse but oddly, no Hazard Flasher remote control?

TNT13 make sure you're using the "Lexus" app and not the "Lexus Enform" app. they're both pretty bad but the former replaced the latter.

The "Lexus" App (Black w/Silver Arrowhead Logo) replaced the former Lexus Remote Start App and also
the Lexus Roadside Assistance App for all 2015 and newer Lexi. It also replaced the Lexus Enform App 2.0
in those 2019 and newer.
The original Lexus Enform App Suite (not 2.0) is alive and well for those 2014 to 2019 Navigation equipped models.
A pre-CarPlay connection to use your phone with the Lexus native Navigation.

Yes, I am using the "Lexus" app. I wrote enform b/c all the docs keep referring to that and it stuck in my head. But looking at the icon, it's just "Lexus" black back w/silver logo. Thanks for keeping me straight.
You all like the "Driver Pulse"? I think it's such a gimmick.

My State Farm agent described the OBD dongle system that monitors driving behavior
that may qualify me for a discount. I drive an ESh hybrid just this side of hyper-mileing
so thought great, I'll get a break. Turns out the potential savings would be $5-10 a year...
The App monitor is fun however when I trade cars with my bride... "Say, Honey how was
traffic the other day?" Really fast traffic you say? Busted!

I rarely perform what I would call harsh cornering. My current pulse score is 82.

(Re: lexus app drive pulse feature)
LOL, you crazy driver you.
and for reasons like that i have no interest in this 'feature'. Oh and you have to explicitly opt out if you don't want that info shared with others.
