Anyone have a MK V Supra?
I don't own either car but I have driven both. The LC drives smoother and more "grand touring" compared to the Zupra which is decidedly stiffer and more sports car oriented. They are very different cars with very different markets. Do you want something sporty with a great V8 with a comfortable ride and very luxurious interior? Or do you want something that is a sports car first and has a very basic plain BMW interior? As a Mk4 Supra owner I will admit to being biased against the new "Supra" because there is nothing Toyota or Supra about it. They tuned some BMW parts and slapped some logos on it and did not listen to actual Toyota or Supra owners on what we wanted. It is a fine car, it's just not a Supra.
If I were spending my money, I'd buy the LC 500. If I wanted a sports car I'd look at something else.

Hi,
Had an MK V. I purchased a Launch Edition, wanted to be one of the first 1500 owners. I never left the dealership with the car. As a previous poster observed, it’s. Bimmer dressed up as a Toyota. The salem and guys delivering the car took note of my lack of enthusiasm and were all to happy to take the car back, return my funds and allow me to leave the lot. I did.
I had a day to kill, waiting for a flight. Taking an Uber to the hotel, passed a Lexus dealership and ended purchasing an LC. Best automotive decision I ever made. Besides I have a MK IV, that I purchased back in 1996. If the folks at Toyota had any sensibilities at all, they’d have created something comparable to an LC without all the luxury, but certainly with the looks and body and tossed some fun into that model and called it a Supra.
Purchase the LC for luxury, and looks with a side of fun.
Get the MK V in order to own a Bimmer, badged as a Toyota. Final assembly in Austria? Austria?
Supra? Naw… respectfully IMO
