much much better. Screen is larger and well located to have a nice view of the map. I had to get an aftermarket box and have it installed on my 2018.

The CP screen allows multiple apps to be viewed simultaneously. However, for me, the biggest advantage to CP is that it keeps the phone out of sight, reducing clutter in keeping with the LC's beautiful interior. I bought a wireless dongle so my phone is typically located in my pocket. When I had the phone connected via USB under the armrest, I was constantly forgetting my phone upon egress, forcing me to walk back to the car once I realized I didn't have it with me - much like walking back to the car to get your mask during the pandemic.

I think you have rightly identified a major part of the ride characteristics of the LC i.e. the run flats. All cars that I have had with RF's have been hard and unforgiving but the moment they are swapped out for normal tires the car(s) were transformed. Certainly my Z4 was frankly highly uncomfortable with RF's but all the better when those were ditched. I also thought the handling was way better and I fail to understand why some suspension/tire set-ups are deemed "sporty" when in reality the car hops and jumps over the slightest road imperfection.
