can you order an LC500
Haha - only Lexus would come out with a Bespoke model that can’t be ordered with the actual Performance options that buyers actually want. Not to mention you can’t even custom order any LC. This has been the story going back 20yrs with Lexus vehicles!
jokes aside any owners of the dynamic pack with rear wheel steer want to give their input on the rear wheel steer system? My personal experience ive never really liked cars with rear wheel steer but ive heard many good things about the lc's RRS system.
i've not driven an LC without the package, but i can tell you the combo of vgrs and the subtle rws means taking corners is so much fun because you just don't need to turn the steering wheel much (more go kart like). i just love it.
the package also has a carbon fiber roof, which besides looking amazing, presumably lightens the car some. and carbon fiber door sills and alcantera headliner which looks and feels great.
Hi. I have a '21 coupe with RWS and the thing I noticed most was how short the turning radius is-like 17 1/2'. I came from a '19 BMW M240i and the BMW had almost 1' larger turning radius yet was a smaller car. When I back out of my driveway and go from right lock to left when going from reverse to drive it feels like I just rolled over a stick-I can only guess it's the rear wheel steering going from one direction to the other at a stop. The car also seems quite nimble, smaller than it's 4300 + lbs. but the RWS is really not noticeable.
i must be the only one who's not a fan of the RWS.
I tried it out on the coupe and found it a bit too twitchy for my liking. Seems less predictable especially when it goes into NON RWS and you were expecting the same response as when RWS was engaging
I don't like the unpredictability of it. I find the non RWS models

I am now on the wait list at 4 dealerships here in Texas, for a Nightfall Mica coupe w/ Toasted Caramel. They all said pretty much the same thing, you give them major preferences - pretty much just exterior/interior and when allocation car comes from the factory, they can match it up with the soonest person on the list and if it’s not a good match, they go to the next person. Also one dealer said they are not shipping coupes with the touring package — sport package only are what are coming from factory.

In my city the wait time for a lousy ioniq 5 Hyundai is like 3-5 years and they refuse to even take deposits because they have such an overfill of request. My friends sister couldn’t even wait to get a Corolla LE which was 1-6 months wait.
A couple of months for a LC doesn’t seem nearly as bad.

If anyone is working with a dealer who says they have sway over what they get allocated, let me know! I’m pegging my over/under at 9 months, but we’ll see.
