i couldn't take seeing my brand new car completely disassmbled!
but best of luck with it all!
At our shop, we try our best to wrap with as little disassembly as possible. We've wrapped so many cars at this point without taking things apart. The only real pain point in this is the mirror. And honestly I'm happy with a small seam if it means not removing to door panel

this guy aint. he wants no seam, and he says if you dont take off panels, the edges wont adhere properly and will release first.
I shopped around and most guys dont/wont do this sort of disassembly, only this nutter. He's also charging me like almost 10k for the wrap vs 3-5k everywhere else. I hope he's REALLY REALLY good at reinstalling everything, im losing my marbles here waiting for the guy. Its been almost a month and its still not finished.
I just went to the shop today to take another look and got these pictures.
yeah tell me about it. the damn thing looks like a nintendo switch right now
I luv French Racing Blue especially with the metallic added to it, although I wouldn't have personally chosen that specific color combo. You're certainly a brave man doing this to your new car (personally I couldn't) but it looks and sounds like the person doing the job is a perfectionist, and that's a very good thing! Can't wait to see the finished product.
a lot of people have asked why blue when you got red interior. to that i say, this very light colored blue has red flakes inside and in the sun, shines with a reddish tinge. also the red interior isn't THAT red. only the seats are the red and a few select pieces of the trim, the rest is black. I don't think it'll be too gaudy when finished.
that or ill just put a big friggin 'MERICA sticker on the back and add in a few white stripes.
