shrinking availability...
autotrader right now is showing 70 new '22-'23 lc500's for sale in the entire u.s.a.
56 convertibles and just 14 coupes.
i guess this is chip shortage related?

Funny enough, I was at my dealers yesterday and not an LC in sight, new or otherwise. Additionally, I don't believe they have had any since around October last year. I can't say if it is the chip shortage or demand but I suspect the former. Seems all manufacturers are struggling to source chips and this is reflected in used prices, I never thought I would see the day when cars appreciated in value, but that is precisely what's going on in this neck of the woods. Consensus seems to be that this chip shortage won't be resolved till late this year/early next.
I pray that the LC will ultimately become a collector’s car. Keeping production units low is a good thing for all of us. Probably won’t live long enuf to see it though. However, I will be getting my Title in next few months. Only 7K miles. Told wife, no pressure to sell.
