Thinking about this….

I’ve come to the conclusion that the only thing they would make me sell my LC 500 Convertible is if they came out with an option to cover the entire interior in high-quality leather (like Porsche Club Leather, for example).

Yep. I think I may have mentioned this before, but my guess is that there is far, far less leather in the interior than we think there is . . . and that every YouTube car reviewer thinks there is.

Porsche charges $5,700 for the Club Leather in the Cayenne (gf has one with it). I’d pay that for the LC if offered.

Very interesting.

When they say “active rear wing” I wonder if it indeed responds to the particular dynamics, changing angle with acceleration and cornering and braking. Or is it just “open” or “closed”? Fun to see a wing pop up in back when we brake harder.

Looking forward to seeing this Bespoke orange. Picturing the nardi green with orange interior similar to our track Lotus.

highly doubt it's different than the one in the dynamic handling (performance) package today.

I talked to my local dealer today - they have a couple of 2021 Convertibles coming in soon - Yellow and Orange... fwiw, the sales manager said the manufacturer has put production of the LC convertible on "pause" and that they don't expect any more new ones until after the new year. Of course, he also wants me to buy that yellow or orange one coming in soon!

Thats called creating a sense of urgency.

Kinda sleazy but it does work.

That's an easy way for the dealer to lose a $100k+ sale. Before the crazy car market of today I would have gone out of market for a better deal. I saved $5k buying my Lincoln Navigator Black label 500 miles away.

I really doubt much would change mechanically given 2021 included so many changes. Like 2019/2020 were essentially the same. I imagine only color combos and another Inspiration Series.

Dealers will say ANYTHING to make a sale. Don't believe a word, only what's in writing.
