Allen key
It's used to crank closed the convertible top in the event of an electrical failure. See page 339 of the owner's manual. It's a difficult, multi-stage, two-person process best never to be used. (Just throw out the car and buy a new one - it will be much easier.) And now I have to go figure out where I stowed that tool.

Thanks for your help on this one. I just read the procedure and it is not something I would want to attempt. If the roof ever did fail I guess I would be left crying in the rain.
