Default Front plate grill gaps

They changed the law in the country I live in. We can now install stickers as front plates.

So I managed to get the new plates for the front only to find gaps in my grill. The local dealer says that they come from the factory like that.

Anyone know If they sell plugs to fill the gap. The dealer had no idea.

In the US grills come from the factory without holes drilled for a front plate. I bought my LC in a state that has front plates but live in a state with no such requirement. Before I traveled to pick up my car I made sure it wasn't drilled for a front plate. You can purchase a new lower grill:

Badero, not sure where new stickers go, but as Lou said probably best just to get a new front grille.

after discussing it with the dealer, they have the part in stock, they're checking it tmrw to be sure it doesn't come with the cut outs. after further inspection it looks it was cut locally for the mounts.

hope it works.

thanks for the help

I like the symmetry of the front metal/plastic number plate. I don't like the offset metal/plastic one, i.e. Alfa Romero, or the offset sticker one on the upper front bumper or hood/bonnet.

agreed, id rather not have a plate. but the grill looks a light cleaner without a plate in the middle.

I'll update you guys with the end product once its done.
