Unhappy Wheel Spacers

I recently lowered my 2018 LC 500 using the RSR lowering springs and I like the way the car sits except the wheels need to be pushed out about 1". ( I still have the factory wheels and like them) I ordered 20mm wheel spacers from Akata and when they arrived I test fitted them and the factory studs keep the spacer from mounting flush. I called Akata and was told the best solution is to replace the factory studs with ones that are 20mm longer. I called a reputable tire/wheel shop and the owner validated that would be an acceptale fix. So my question is where would I get longer studs....and I am open to any other suggestions.

Thanks

The tire shop you called should have 'em. Amazon has 'em. And remember we 14mm lugs, not the common 12mm.

There is no reason the factory studs should keep the spacer from sitting flush unless the wheels have no indent space on the back or you have the wrong spacers. Usually this is only an issue with spacers below 15mm.

You more than likely bought spacers for cars with M12 size wheel studs. You need M14 size wheel studs (unique to LS and LC model cars).

^^^^With regards to stud dimensions, that's exactly what I said However, the bolt circle (LC & LS) is different from other Lexus models with 12mm. I don't think the spacer is the issue. I'm certainly not a proponent of wheel spacers But, for adequate thread coverage, longer studs are the answer.

What would longer studs have to do with the spacer sitting flush to the vehicle?

That is correct. The wheels have no indent space on the back.
