Depreciation and Resale Value?
When I first got my Vette in 2016 it got so much attention. Now they're everywhere. I don't even look twice when I see one.
Good decision Corvettes and Mustangs on every corner! GT3's?! Don't leave exclusivity and quality out of the LC resale equation . Just came back from MIami. Valets never saw an LC and went crazy over it. During the last year I had two people say they would never buy a Vette after seeing the LC. One person recently, after looking at it thought it was a 200k car. The dealers should work to keep the value up because it's there in the eyes of the public. Parked next to a new Aston in a parking garage and everyone was looking at the LC. I could go on....... Just bought a new Merc.E53 for my daily driver. Will never be satisfied with the interior .
I am picking mine up on tomorrow. 2018 touring pkg $81400 Smoky Granite Mica new.

Wow! That's a ridiculous discount. Does anyone have experience with negotiating with used cars? I'm waiting for the 2020 model year to come out so I can see another drop before asking around. Maybe by then some 2 year leases will start coming back.
That's not a ridiculous discount for a 2018 car with touring package. Go to edmunds.com "TMV" and they have that car priced at 80,855. My local dealer is willing to sell me a fully-loaded (performance pack, convenience pack, accessory pack, ML sound, TORSEN, 21-wheels, HUD, All-weather pack etc) 2018 with an MSRP of 105,978 for 91,000 (and I bet he will go even lower). The 2019's are already out and the sales numbers are down to 90/month nationwide. Unfortunately dealers are really struggling to unload these and they will let them go with very little profit.

I'm struggling with the idea that they will see fit to come out with an F version after all. I for one am OK with this as I intend to keep mine for several years and I'm confident that it will offer an excellent resale value in the long term. The LC even convinced me to sell my AMG GT-S in March, having driven it less than 500 miles since adding the LC to my garage last May.
