Default LC options

My dad's RC is nearing end of lease, and he REALLLY wants an LC. However, much as I found when ordering an IS350, he's finding it impossible to find them without 10-20k of extras on them. The dealer system just isn't set up for a base model car. Misleading in price, perhaps. But what are the experiences people have had in getting an LC with minimal options?

You can Factory Order nearly any level of equipment and price you want, takes 14-16 weeks.

Not necessarily. My IS350 order (according to the dealer we have an almost 30 year relationship with) got kicked back 3-4 times because it did not have the 'right set' of options that the system liked. They had to add a few things in, but yes, it took about 14 weeks.

As stated above, you can order just base @ $92,000 if you wish and add any level of options you want. I ordered everything and it came to $106,199. So pick your options and wait your time and you'll get exactly what you want.

Might be different with the LC then, due to the halo status of the car. On other models it seems the system is not set up to allow (according to the dealer I ordered my IS from, and I trust) a "base model"

You got it - -You're stepping up to an LC - Many more 'options' are standard . .
