^^^^2026 is it - NINE model years is a very long run, without major changes, for any automobile

Dealers tend to be misinformed a lot of the time.

Here are the most recent two official announcements on the LC500, from July of 2025:

2026 Coupe - https://pressroom.lexus.com/tangible...-lexus-lc-500/

2026 Convertible - https://pressroom.lexus.com/open-air...0-convertible/

Neither of which state that 2026 is the final year. Since the RC-F, IS500 and GR Supra all got "final editions", and the LC500 hasn't had a final edition yet, it is a very safe bet that there will be 2027 LC500's.

Nothing is official yet, anybody at HQ that does know would get fired for talking, and dealers aren't to be trusted.

I don't think we are in disagreement that 2026 is the last year of the LC.....but again....its hasn't been announced by Lexus so please remove the word OFFICIAL from this thread title.

It looks like OP posted a screenshot of the dealer letter. Gives more credence to the claim, even though it's not technically a public announcement from Lexus OEM.

That was my initial thought. I saw a couple posts like that and the user never to be seen again.

I mean, what if the source of this memo is the same dealer who's trying to hawk an Inspiration Series car at $170k currently... surely no dealer would be so dishonest as to do something like that.........

That said, it seems likely that 2026 really is the final year. The rate at which the standard cars seem to be trickling out, if they do a Final Edition, on top of the 2026 Inspiration cars, they surely won't build very many.

Hi guys, I’ve been part of the LC program as a Lexus partner since 2017. I edited the title. Letter seems legit but I also didn’t hear 26 was the last year.

Also be kind to the newbs please! Thank you!

I just called the sales person at the dealership where I bought the LC from, and he confirmed that dealerships have received the communication that 2026 MY is the last one. And he was sad that LC is being discontinued.

How many 2026 LCs will barely see the road? Going to be a lot of garage queens.

The best news in that memo is that Motomachi will keep production alive until August.....that means the chances of my Bespoke Order getting built is PRETTY HIGH!!!!!
