Default Phone holder/charger

I have been looking for a pre-made device that could easily hold and charge my phone without having to plug it in to charge and hold the phone at the same time. I've come up with something that I think has some merit and it only cost me $1.25. I had a multi charging pad that can do up to 3 devices at once but only need to charge 1 phone. I wanted to make something that requires no drilling or altering of the vehicle of course. The end result is a "sponge holder" that I got from the dollar store. It comes with 2 suction cups that I will only use for friction purposes. The pictures attached give you the jest of it. I know it could be done much neater but I wanted to check the function first. End result is it works great. The phone slips right into the holder and charges without any further help. The phone stays in position and super easy to slide in and out. The charge cord goes to one of the outlets in the arm rest area.

The one I have is definitely not cheap, but I've had zero issues with the mount. You have to purchase two pieces (car mount and cell holder/charger) and assemble. I'm using the non-charging MagnePro but may upgrade to the MagicMount Elite.

Nice hack. That's a clever and cheap solution.

The function is what matters most, and if it holds and charges your phone, it's a win.

Glad it's working for you.
