Yes the Wheels and Interior are top notch and definitely what sold me to purchase a '22 Insp. Series Convertible!!
Coming from a GS with Atomic Silver, the Iridium really pops and I am quite happy with it.

Can you post a picture of your car exterior and interior? I haven't laid eyes on mine yet, will do the Saturday when I pick it up. Manager called me today and said they are repainting the front clip cause he see's some minor imperfections. I'm staying optimistic cause I'm a paint freak, can't handle paint discrepancies. ( my wife says I'm **** about my cars lol just can't help it)

CPO come with the price of the car. The way I see it if you don't have PPF on a 4 years old car how can you avoid some minor paint issues in the front? I'm going to get xpel PPF installed asap, I do all my cars.

 

You're gonna want to wait a month or two to let the paint cure properly before you ppf it. If you ppf fresh paint it's all gonna come off when the PPF is removed in the future.

Dealers respraying bumpers during CPO is a normal practice. I don't love it and at least they told you. They didn't tell me they did that when I bought my GS350. I only found out when I went to have the front bumper wrapped and the wrap guy told me it was resprayed.

I agree with your rationale. Given the front end design and relatively low ground clearance it’d be nearly impossible not to acquire some minor degree of damage over a 4 year period. Your dealer was behaving ethically in telling you upfront about the repainting necessity. Again congratulations!

 

30 days wait time for new paint to cure...gonna have to just sit in it and pretend til then lol. I got a good 3 hrs from the dealership to my garage, after that I just look at it, might help to listen to some tunes. I am surprised the dealership did that for me, very happy. Got 4 new tires to boot.

Germain out of Naples Florida. I had to stand on their hands to get this done, the manager saved the day. The guy that picked up the initial phone call wasn't very responsive to my questions. It's a challenge buying a car like this without seeing it, but I've done it b 4.
