Default Sunroof sealing rubber damage

Hey everyone,, i just noticed the sealing rubber around the roof glass cracked, look like it got dry and cracked im wondering if i can replace that rubber wothout removing the entire glass, im sharing a pic of the rubber i mean but its not mine.

Yes, you can usually replace that seal without removing the entire glass. It's a separate part called the sunroof glass weatherstrip. You just need to carefully pull the old, cracked seal off its channel.

Before you order the part, check your car's specific model and year, as the part number can vary. You can then pop the new one into place by hand. It's a pretty straightforward job you can do yourself.

Thank you! , i just found the rubber around the back glass damaged as well, is it the same way to replace it without removing the back glass? 😕

Not sure if this is the one but the rubber around the back glass

Dealership told me they already checked the repair manual and they said they have to remove the glass plus parts in interior and sides aibag and cost 1200$ 😔😔 so are you sure it can be replaced without removing the glass? Im confused
