Echo this. Who'd of thought of this latest touch from your busy hands? You can never over-mod. You can over-mod in my opinion ( which counts for zero) though. This is fantastic! I have to go to the garage to focus on my stitching right now. Sorry.

LOL I cannot take all the credit for this one, for I was inspired by someone else on Reddit who undertook the effort first (thread here: https://www.reddit.com/r/lexuslc500/...ple_pleasures/). That said, I'm all for trying new mods that I like and finding ways to make my car unique!

Re: Over-modding: trial and error have definitely played a part as I've certainly done things that did not work out at all the way I wanted or expected, so I definitely understand this concept!

I too, was disappointed in the lack of color of my black interior. My LC is Infrared and some red interior accents would be nice. Not sure I will color all the stitching but the back seat is not happening.

Weirdly, there is about 12 inches of red stitching below my driver's door handle; there's none on the passenger side.

I did put some red plastic trim pieces on three of the air vent deflectors. Turned out nice .

I like that touch on the vents! What did you use exactly?

Being clairvoyant, Carnac predicts when you get the answer, the color will be orange. The search for the exact shade of the exact material will be exhausting, but worth the climb.

When I posted about the vents, I couldn't for the life of me, remember what I used or where I got it. Sorry. Was actually hoping nobody would ask. It is an almost U-shaped length of plastic that is spread open to friction fit over the 'shaft' of the deflectors. I can't think of a use for this plastic either.

You guys changing the color of your interior stitching: hats off. When the time comes to sell or trade, here’s evidence of a car that’s been … pampered? Obsessed over ? Better than new? I just hope that every now and so often you guys take these LCs and run the crap out of ‘em — because these cars love that too, and need it. It reminds them — and you — of what they were born to do!

I'm taking my LC to the track (Sebring full circuit) in December, she needs to breathe!!! Very much looking forward to overheating it in < 2 laps, but they will be glorious fun.
