Anyone have the upper portion cover from carbon addicts?
I got a used one, and doing a dry test fit (no tape) it showed the lower edges were going to need some assistance to stay flat. I used the 30lb black 3m tape (about 1" wide by 1/16" thick) and slapped it on.... but after a day one of the edges started to lift.
I did reach out to carbon addicts but haven't heard anything yet.

Anyone have this? How was the fitment, was a thicker tape used (I think they light grey stuff is thicker), and was the tape in specific areas? I think it would sit real nice if I made some modifications, but I really don't want to start hacking something up if I don't have to.

 

The fitment of these stick-on carbon fiber parts can sometimes be off. I had the same issue with one of my taillight covers from E6 Carbon, which I purchased directly from them. They sent me a new set and didn’t want the defective part back. Since you bought this used, it’s possible the fitment issue was already known when it was sold to you.
