Following were suggested to detract rodents in one of the minivan forums I am part of:
1. use Irish Spring soap - Rub or place shavings of it around where you think they might be going to
2. ammonia chases them off
3. attracting them away from the vehicle using traps

General consensus is that rodents are attracted to soy coated wiring harness. Does anyone know whether the wiring harnesses in LC are soy coated?

Hilarious story glad it was just a Michelin-star rodent, not a blown engine! Mesh those tailpipes before your car becomes a five-star rodent bistro.
