Default On Board battery tender

Looking for suggestions for a permanent on board charger. I bought a NOCO Genius 2, but dont like the way the lugs and wires block the positive battery cable. What have you done?

I have Noco Genius 2D. Direct mounted to battery terminals, wires routed to rear of the boot.

I haven't "jump started" a car since the 1960s, when I was in High School. I'm not sure why I would want to pay the price for a Lexus and have to jump it, like my old 53 Chevy.

Not for jumpstarting. This is a battery tender to for folks who don't us their car as a daily driver, such as myself, to keep the battery up and fully charged.

This is what I did. Comes out the front, hood shuts fine with wires in place.
