If they did fit, I wouldn’t have a need for something like those on my LC anyway since the LC is stored during the winter months. For me that runs about December to March. As for handling etc. I’m probably not that nuanced to even know tire differences on the vehicle. Maybe I’ll have a better understanding after attending the upcoming Lexus Performance Driving School at Indy.

Yes, good point, Have fun at the driving school. I don't believe they will be running cross climates at the school.

Pretty much what I expected, no case to be presented, just bluster. Depending on one’s driving habits and locale a strong argument can be made for a high quality all season tire. Obviously it won’t suit everyone’s needs but for some it will. I do believe that the Michelin Pilot all season is a higher performance option but the Cross climate is not some 2nd rate tire either.

If the objective is ultimate performance then the Michelin Pilot sport summer tire is a great choice. BTW a number of owners have posted on this forum that the Pilot all season tires are quite close to the summer version in actual driving experience.

I suspect that you’ll have a very interesting, memorable and worthwhile experience with this outing. Performance driving on a track will definitely require a high quality purposeful summer tire. No all season tire in those circumstances. Day to day driving on public roads and highways is a different matter which allows expansion of tire options. Horses for courses.

Michelin is introducing Cross Climate 3 and 3 Sport which will be in 21" size. I do have CC2 on a minivan and like it for the grip, handling especially in wet road/rain. Wear longevity is good. When the wheels are turned sideways, the tread pattern does not flow well with the vehicle. Same would be on LC too. So, if one is worried about the look of the tire tread then it is not for you.

CC3 Sport is on my list as a potential candidate, along with Michelin PS 5S, when OEM tire wears out... will see.

CC2 is an excellent choice for a minivan!

The entire point is the use of all season tires as alternatives to dedicated summer sport tires. If the CC3 is available as 21” then it’s on the list of potential all season options for consideration. I’d likely choose the all season Michelin Pilot but the Cross Climate is in the mix.

I had the CC2's on my LS430 and really did like them a lot. However, since they don't make one that fits my LC I bought the Michelin Sport All Season and must say they are VERY similar to the Michelin summer tires that came on my LC. I just put the summer tires back on this spring and there is very little difference between them for my style of driving. For the difference in expected longevity I will stick with the all seasons after these summer tires need replacing.

It’s available in the rear tire size I believe. The front tire is available one size up (255).

The Michelion PSAS4 is available in 255/40/21 and 275/35/21 and will fit fine on the stock LC 21" wheels.

As flowrider stated 255/40/21 and 275/35/21 fits OEM wheels and is a really good overall all season tire.
