@Badhobz
It was an open solicitation for feedback comments and that’s precisely what was given. BTW there is an acceptance of modifications on this forum. People changing wheels/ lowering springs/ body kit additions / changing chrome/ trim etc. The geezers seem flexible and tolerant around here.
look geezer crowd, if it aint for you, just don't respond
This is exactly why our community lacks aftermarket support. Anyone does anything aftermarket, and you AARP people jump their bones and criticize it. Props for the mod!
@Badhobz - I take offense to being called an 'old geezer' and referred to as 'AARP people'. All of my other Canadians friends (yes - I still play hockey 2x a week at age 65), are kind, respectful and easy going.
Please take a chill pill (heck, you live in Vancouver, one of the most beautiful places on earth) and try to remember that all of us here are lucky enough to own the greatest GT car available on the market today at any price. Cheers...

Excuse me I am certainly in the AARP crowd @ 86, but I am no geezer, as you call us seniors. The first post in this thread is certainly not a change (I won't dignify it by calling it a mod) that any enthusiast would endorse. As some of the members here know, my LC is full bolt-on. It was not done for some silly noise, but for performance. I enjoy increased performance, and I have modded all my cars since my first one in 1957.

I'm decades away from being a senior citizen and I posted that it sounds like crap. The OP asked for people's opinions and that's what he got. You don't agree with the responses so now you come on here and insult a specific demographic of the community. What a joke!
So, if you're not clapping, you're a geezer?! TF... The OP asked for feedback, and he got it. Not everyone thinks turning a Lexus V8 into a mobile fireworks finale is a flex. That’s not ageism, it’s taste. If your threshold for support is “only say you love it” you’re not asking for feedback, you're only looking for validation. Also, calling people “AARP” while sitting in a Lexus LC forum is like showing up to a jazz club and complaining about the lack of dubstep. Wrong crowd, my friend.
There’s a difference between mods that enhance performance or aesthetics, and gimmicks that tank your resale value and **** off your neighbors. Rock on if you want a popcorn tune. But don’t get salty when seasoned enthusiasts tell you it sounds like your muffler’s trying to escape.
Anyway, I’ll go polish my walker and adjust my compression socks now. Enjoy the show.
Some of these younger guys get triggered at just about everything...buttercup generation! I wouldn't fret over it.
hahah, look at all these angry comments about being called a geezer! Obviously i say that with some tongue and cheek, no need to spit out your dentures about it.
I count myself in with the geezer crowd so dont get too worked up. What is this? the corvette forums now? im just saying, more inclusivity, build a better, more welcoming community and hopefully we get some more mod support down the line like those RCF guys.

No one‘s being exclusive, just honest.
Oh, and one of the forum Geezers asked me to share a recent birthday snippet…

It's all good...there's definitely no prize for checking out early...lol
@Badhobz
A few took offense to the geezer snark but others here handled it with humor. Does “inclusivity “ to you mean accepting everything and not expressing one’s honest opinion? There’s nothing enlightening or thoughtful about that. This forum as far as I have seen is a successful give and take, you can disagree and still get along with other community members.
If you happen to find the “popcorn” soundtrack endearing, no problem, go for it. I’ll happily take a pass nonetheless.
Cheers

I'm learning my way around here, so please allow me some grace...a tad more sensitive here than FerrariChat and WAAAAAAAAYYYY more sensitive than MaseratiLife.
