It seems that the start of each model year varies wildly for these cars. When my car was first ordered in Oct 2024, it was as a 2024 model, but then morphed into a 2025 car. Seems odd to me that the orders are being switched already to 2026 models, unless they're planning to start the model year much earlier, this time around...

If you can find the spec you want or close to it, grab it.
I just returned from the COTA Lexus event and this was brought up that the V8's are being phased out very soon from the Lexus line(s). This is from Scott Pruett who was part of the F (L finesse line) of cars starting with the LFA. Sad to hear this, but not really a surprise.

He mentioned same when I was at the event at Road Atlanta, with the caveat that the TT V8 from the new GR-GT3 would live, albeit there was uncertainty whether it would live under the Toyota or Lexus brand, or even if Toyota would spin off entirely the GR brand into it's own performance division (to be sold by Toyota dealerships, sort of how Genesis was originally sold at Hyundai dealerships) with this being the flagship vehicle under that brand and encompassing all of Toyota's performance oriented vehicles.
