My son is a long time Mastr Tech at a major brand store. I’ve asked him a few times which Sales Associate(s) are the best to work with. His answer, “none of them..they’re mostly paid liars and none stay around long enough to get to know them, and most don’t really know the products they sell!” Sadly, this has often been my experience as I approach 100 cars bought and sold in my lifetime.
most of my cars have ben "preowned" the LC is only 1 of a few that I bought new. I did all my negotiating on it on the internet, never met sales guy till day I picked it up 5 months later..lucked out and got a good salesman,,few months later bought her highness a RX350h from the same guy.

My sales person has 25 years experience in the same dealership so it was a pleasure to work with (and was recommended by a member in my area). Except couple of small things that he did not know about on MY2024, he dealt all questions very well. And he told me that he has another 6 years before retiring. If we need another Lexus for us or for friends, then he is the person I will turn to.
ORDER ACCEPTED: 3/3/25 Dropped off my ES300h for the 35k service and sensor recall. Talked to my salesman who said my order was accepted by Toyota (I made sure it wasn't some "dealer accepted" but for actual Japan Toyota acceptance), I did not ask for specific date but it was between 2/17/25 (special order form) to 2/20/25 (last day for monthly order acceptance per the special order form).
My LC bespoke is very basic, I just wanted smoked chrome.

Let’s not panic.
I highly doubt 25% tariffs will mean 25% more in price although I’m not an economist.
I’m in the market for replacing the ‘16 LS460. I was going to wait until Fall when I need it but this might happens sooner.
The manufacturer has reserved the right to change the price of new motor vehicles, including the price of factory-install options, without notice. In the event that the price of the new car ordered hereunder is so changed, the cash delivered price, which is based on the list price effective on the day of delivery, will govern in this transaction. If the cash delivered price is increased as a result of the manufacturer's change in price, Buyer may, if dissatisfied with such increased price, cancel this order. The dealer shall retain the option to void this order if Buyer does not agree to the adjusted price.
Man I'm thinking of worst case if I have to walk away, I won't be able to get my 5k non-refundable deposit back. Maybe they will give it back but knowing dealers in general, that won't happen.
Doesn’t sound like you really want the car. Already thinking about walking away when you don’t even know how much it’s going to increase if there any increase in price at all.
