Trunk Fuse Question
Does anyone know what P/Outlet No.3 is here? I'[m trying to find ignition or ACC fuse to tap when car is on. And yes, I did google search and nothing came back for P/O Outlet No.3 for the LC.
The service manual does not show this as a fuse. I know you said in the trunk, but if by chance you could also tap in to it in the cabin, here is what I did:
12v Power Source:
12v Power Source:
- Driver side fuse box: Super easy to access. Just look up and to the left under the driver side dash area. Small, rectangle box with black cover
- Fuse: 6th from bottom, on right column, drivers side box. I only wanted to tap the 12v power outlet fuse (Cigarette lighter) and this was it: P/Outlet No. 1 - 15A. (Another 15A is above it, a 10A below it, and a 5A to the left of it)
- Fuse Type: Low profile mini. There is a fuse puller under the hood of the LC, in the engine compartment fuse box on the passenger side. Small white plastic plier'like thing.
- Fuse Tap: I used an add a fuse adapter and it worked perfectly. (Nilight 12 Pack 12V Car Add-a-Circuit Fuse Tap). You take out the current fuse in the LC box, put it into the adapter with a 2nd fuse, and plug in to the newly empty fuse location.
I went hunting for an ACC fuse in the trunk a little while back. Could not find one.
This is for anyone reading this post in the future. I tested the P/Outlet NO.3 with car on and off and it is powered by ignition. When the car is off no voltage was coming through and when I cranked the car on it was on.
