Cost of total power train replacement.
Saw this on You Tube. Not sure why he needed a new engine but luckily it was totally covered by warranty. Interesting what our cars look like without an engine.
According to him "
Woops forgot to mention in the video, in the past after getting serviced at Lexus, about 1000 miles later the car alerted me of having low oil. I alerted lexus and topped the car back off with oil. Then 2000 miles later it once again alerted me of low oil yet again! This is the reason why I added the Oil Catch can. Lexus corporate knew that I added it to try and combat the oil consumption issue. We are thinking this could have been a sign that the engine was already damaged.

Sorry just seeing this thread. Pretty much was doing a pull from a stop and car felt like it was cutting out a lot so I stopped accelerating and the check engine light started flashing. I don’t think LC owners should be worried about this happening to them. Corporate was surprised to see what happened. I dont think anyone should be worried about this happening to them. Not saying my car was tuned but the stock ecu tune from lexus works great! New engine has been awesome though! Put over 10k miles on it in the last 2 months doing cross country road trips and breaking it in.
