the RED one only has 16K on it. My 24 has 6K on it as I love to drive it.

Not planning to sell and not selling can always change. If you go into it knowing you can NEVER sell and accept that I don't see a problem if (and only if) the sole reason for the salvage title is theft. Good luck.

I think I’ve said “I’ll never sell this one” in pretty much all the cars I bought. Lol
‘11 GS350-Sold at 85k miles
‘15 GS350-F sport. Gave to dad at 43k miles
‘20 GSF-Sold at 22k miles
‘24 LC500- 2500 miles and on battery tender and wondering if LX700H would be better purchase
’16 LS460-F sport- Just purchased at 100k miles and wondering if new LS500 would be nicer to have than the LC500.

I always say it’s my last car when I’m about to buy it.

I think OP should talk to the insurance agency first to understand how the premium is going to be affected. Personally I would just pass on any salvage titled car. However, if OP insists to buy this car then it is very much overpriced.

I would rather stretch a bit and buy a 20 or 21 MY LC500 which is still under factory warranty or above to expire, and pick up Lexus Platinum VSA warranty plan for 3K+ (for 10 years/100K miles) if the vehicle is not going to be sold as OP states (or going to be driven for many years to come). It just gives peace of mind and make me sleep better.

As others said, if OP can buy a salvage titled car for 50K+ then buying non-salvaged for 60K should be in consideration.

Most insurance companies will insure the vehicle with no problem. They will simply adjust the replacement value. The state where the OP lives is also a major factor when it comes to insurance. I live in Florida and all the major insurance companies will insure a salvage vehicle. I still think 50k is too much to pay for a salvage vehicle. OP, keep looking, the right priced one is out there. PM me, I can throw a lil secret in your direction.
