I was told my order was submitted July 20 and accepted August 20 but that turned out not to be true. Don’t have an order in still.

But it’s not a bespoke build and I’ve heard very conflicting info on whether you can “order” a non-bespoke or if it’s the normal allocation game.

I spoke w my dealership yesterday and they said the orders in the system are still for 2024 and Lexus hasn't said when 2025 will open.

If we don’t see it by the end of October, we all can rejoice that no more LC will be made.

It would be kinda nice to own the final MY (2024) haha. But I have a feeling they're cooking up something very special for 2025 and hence the delay. Maybe a really nice inspiration series.

I have been talking to couple of dealers during the week to see how far their 2024 allocations are and check whether they have any news on 2025 MY. Both have told me that they are receiving few LC500 up until mid Dec 2024 (they are in build phase currently). Past press releases indicate new MY announcement with 1 to 2 month lead time. So I am guessing 2025LC500 will either really be coming out in calendar year 2025 or not at all (thus 2024 is the last MY). I have been waiting to see what change they make for 2025MY (like trans cooler, safety system 3.0) but the wait all the way to last quarter is killing. Anyone else heard anything recently?

As some may know, I’ve been trying since June. Dealer called me last week and said he’s hearing 24 is basically over and I’m better off waiting for 25, assuming it happens, anyway. He did say I’d get the benefit of current MSRP if it goes up, but I trust salesmen about as far as I can throw them…

It would be a trip if next week, begin of Oct they just come out and say It was Great. The LC is finished.

I think the '24 owners would sure be in the catbirds seat. I think there are bunches of folk waiting for That Last Year to pull the trigger. I think All our LCs might be worth a bit more.

Just came back from dealership. Enquired about 2025 LC. Their view is that there is no noticeable change from 2024 to 2025 hence is not announcing anything in the press. I was told that the 2025 MY cars will just start appearing if Lexus takes LC to 2025. As per their system, cars coming in to the dealership until late Nov and early Dec still showing up as 2024 MY. The hunt is still on.

Default No 2025?

Would it make sense to upgrade the infotainment system for one model year and then axe the model? If the model was to be discontinued, why go the the expense of engineering and building a new system? Maybe all the 2025 models will be hybrid 4 cylinders?

Sadly.....that seems the direction the LC is headed.

Since they have made so many variations, I would like to see a Type "R", dual turbo and at least 8-900 lbs lighter.
