Default LC500 Review and Auction

Thought people might be interested in this. I always wondered how well an LC500 would do on Cars & Bids.
Here's a promotion review done about a week ago:

I hope posting a link to this auction is allowed. I'm not associated with it in any way.

A quick note about the differences between C&B and BaT.

Hits / visitors: C&B got 4.82M hits in November 2023 vs 11.2M for BaT.

The cost structure varies slightly: C&B is free to list and charges the buyer 4.5% on the first $100K, BaT is $99 to list (you can option this up with a photographer booking) and charges the buyer 5% on the first $100K.

Effectively, you're paying BaT $100 for having over twice as many eyeballs on your auction. I've sold a couple of cars on BaT, I wouldn't hesitate to use it again before C&B.

The LC500 at auction:

We're in the depreciation cycle for the LC500 as you can still buy one new from Lexus. Also with the new Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0 color and bespoke ordering ability (blue top + white interior) on both the LC coupe and convertible now, the Structural Blue LCs that so many bought as collectors seem to be dropping a lot in value, with 2022 highs over $170K but the last two going in the $100-110K range (one of those under 1K miles): https://bringatrailer.com/lexus/lc/

Although I never plan on selling my 2023 LC 500 Conv't, (gray/caramel/blk top) I have noticed the recent significant drop in value for the beautiful structural blue LC inspiration models. For me, it's further evidence that you should buy (and drive!) cars that you LOVE and make investments in the stock market, real estate, your kid's education -- not in the vehicle in your garage. It drives me crazy to see cars (mainly Ferrari, Porsche, etc.) that are 15-20 years old and only have a handful of miles on the clock...what a waste!

^^ I bought my LC for me, not for the next owner.
