Default Best setting/mode for city driving?

Still getting a feel for the car. I do a lot of local stop and go city /suburban type driving and the car seems a little jerky at times during slower speeds. It just feels like there's too many damn gears. Is comfort the best mode to smooth things out a bit? I have a 2022 so I'm sure it's better than the 2018's but still not as smooth as I'm used to with my previous Jaguar sedan.

ECO is the best mode in this case. I drive in a crowded city 99% of the time. In ECO, the throttle is much less snatchy at low speeds/gears and the shifts are a little more slushy. On the slight minus side, comfort has a softer suspension setup than eco, but its a small price to pay for much nicer low speed manners

I never drive in comfort or eco but based on this chart that sickpuppy previously posted I would guess that the eco setting which puts the powertrain in eco allows for shifts at the lowest rpm’s and therefore is a bit smoother than even comfort.

Edit: Based on breplica’s post above it sounds like your best bet would be to create a custom setting with powertrain in eco and suspension in comfort.
